Greetings! Welcome to my travel blog! I’ve been traveling for as long as I can remember. It was a yearly tradition within my family-of-origin, starting with my parents when my siblings and I were children, and it became a passion of mine as an adult. I lived overseas (Singapore) for 3.5 years, and that’s when “the travel bug” truly took hold! I set a travel goal to go to all seven continents about a year before I moved back to the USA, and accomplished that goal just before I moved back! While I continued to travel upon my return, it was not until 2017 that I decided that I was ready to set another goal – to visit 100 countries* by 2025! At that time, I had visited 52 countries (if I’m only counting locations identified as “Independent States” by the US Department of State; 55 if I include places I’ve been to that are not on that list). So, since I was more than half-way there, I figured it was a reachable goal…
If you have been following my posts, you are already aware that I accomplished my goal! In September of 2024, I visited my 100th country (Estonia)! I also visited my 50th state (North Dakota) in June of 2024. Many people have asked “what’s next?” Well, I plan to continue traveling to as many countries as I can, and I also plan to go to all of the Provinces in Canada. I will continue to update my blog (with my own photos, and with information gathered during my trips), and am also in the process of pursuing another travel-related goal. Stay tuned…

Sit back, relax, and continue to enjoy the journey! As Hans Christian Andersen said (in “The Fairy Tale of My Life”): “To move, to breathe, to fly, to float, To gain all while you give, To roam the roads of lands remote: To travel is to live.”
In the meantime, take care and be well…
